ValueAct Takes Stake in Twenty-First Century Voting Shares

Jeffrey Ubben’s hedge fund firm has not yet said if it has plans to propose to Rupert Murdoch’s media giant.

forJeffrey Ubben’s ValueAct Capital has apparently identified its newest activist target.

The San Francisco-based hedge fund firm disclosed Tuesday morning that it owns more than 43.5 million shares of Twenty-First Century Fox, or 5.5 percent of the total outstanding.

This is one of the bigger companies that Ubben has invested in.
