Baptist Health Foundation Donates $5.7M

The Baptist Health Foundation of San Antonio has granted a total of $5.7 million to health-related groups throughout the region.

The Baptist Health Foundation of San Antonio has granted a total of $5.7 million to health-related groups throughout the region, San Antonio Express reports. The grant comprises more than $1 million in scholarships.

The $250 million grant to San Antonio AirLife will allow it to fly its helicopter ambulances to surrounding counties in fog and low clouds. AirLife will also be able to request several such restricted flight paths from the Federal Aviation. Among others, Haven for Hope received $210,000 for case management, the San Antonio Christian Dental Clinic was given $150,000 and SAMMinistries $100,000.
