Smule Inc., a Palo Alto–based maker of popular and inventive musical applications for mobile Apple devices, has received $12 million of venture capital financing, Business Journal reports. Early-stage venture capital firm Shasta Ventures, Granite Ventures and Bessemer Ventures Partners led the funding round.
Smule has added Shasta partner Jason Pressman to its board. The company previously raised $13.5 million in funding, adds TechCrunch.
