Provider of clearance, settlement and information services Depository Trust & Clearing Corp. (DTCC) is looking to begin swaps data repository (SDR) service across several OTC derivatives asset classes. DTCC has filed a registration application with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) to this effect.
DTCC Data Repository (U.S.) will make available trade repository and reporting services for over-the-counter credit, interest rates, equities and foreign exchange derivatives. In another move DTCC is looking to file an application to operate commodities SDR in partnership with Netherland-based energy trading contract company EFETnet.
