BNY Mellon Asset Management is looking to change the name and investment adviser of its U.S. equities product offering in the BNY Mellon Investment Fund, fundsnet reports. The amendment plan comes as a result of a change in the investment team of Newton Investment Management with the departure of Simon Laing.

As part of its proposed changes, BNY Mellon’s specialist boutique Boston Co. Asset Management will be appointed as investment adviser. The changes to the fund will come into effect in early next year.
