Dutch Pension Body Exec To Quit, Join PWRI

Frans Prins will be quitting as director at the Dutch Pension Federation to join as director at the Pension Fund for Work and Re-Integration which has over 170,000 participants and pensioners who have worked or are working at sheltered workshops.

Frans Prins will be quitting as director at the Dutch Pension Federation to join as director at the Pension Fund for Work and Re-Integration (PWRI) which has over 170,000 participants and pensioners who have worked or are working at sheltered workshops, IPE reports. He will start work at the €5 billion industry-wide PWRI on February 1 next year.

Prins, director of the Foundation for Company Pension Funds (OPF) since 2006, joined the Pension Federation in 2010. OPF is collaborating with other pension fund organizations in the Netherlands – the Association of Industry-wide Pension Funds (VB) and the Union of Occupational Pension Funds (UvB) – in the Pension Federation. OPF promotes the interests of about 350 Dutch company pension funds which represent about 1.5 million constituents. OPF affiliated funds hold combined assets of about € 150 billion.
