The Bank of America Charitable Foundation has granted $1 million in educational grants to non-profit organizations in Charlotte. The grants range from $15,000 to more than $50,000. The investment is a part of a series of school initiatives linked to the October 15 Bank of America 500. These grants and the additional programming will help address the increasing educational achievement gap and high-school dropout rates.
