Merk Investments has rolled out an enhanced U.S. equity portfolio in the market. The Merk Currency Enhanced U.S. Equity Fund aims to outperform the S&P 500 Index by managing the U.S. dollar and other currency exposures inherent in U.S. equity investments.
The no-load mutual fund utilizes a currency overlay on top of the S&P Index, planning to improve risk-adjusted equity returns. With more than $860 million in assets under management, the manager of the Merk Funds oversees three foreign-exchange mutual funds.
