Morgan Stanley Adds Ex-Fed Economist

Morgan Stanley has named Vincent Reinhart as chief U.S. economist in New York.

Morgan Stanley has named Vincent Reinhart as chief U.S. economist in New York. He will head its economics research team and be in charge of the firm’s analysis of the U.S. economy.

Reinhart will head a team that also has U.S. fixed-income economist and managing director David Greenlaw as a member. Most recently, Reinhart was a resident scholar at American Enterprise Institute and had held senior positions at the U.S. Federal Reserve between 1990 and 2007.
