Egypt is planning to raise a total of $504 million through a bond sale.

Egypt is planning to raise a total of $504 million through a bond sale, Bloomberg reports. The finance ministry is seeking to sell the notes ahead of the trial of its former President Hosni Mubarak. The securities will mature in 2014. The country had recently raised a similar amount through the auction of two-year notes, which carry a coupon of 13.1%.
