The Foundation For California Community Colleges has raised $67.7 million for a permanent scholarship fund that will support the education of students. The endowment will forever continue to sponsor a minimum of 3,300 scholarships a year, with scholarships of $1,000 per academic year. The funds have been secured from the Bernard Osher Foundation. The foundation had granted $25 million to set up the endowment in 2008, while also committing another $25 million in match dollars to launch a three-year fundraising campaign.
