Joyce Foundation To Give $7M In Summer ’11

The Joyce Foundation is investing around $7 million in its grant-making cycle of summer 2011.

The Joyce Foundation is investing around $7 million in its grant-making cycle of summer 2011. It will commit the money to 35 organizations in six different program areas including education, employment, environment, gun violence and culture. The American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research will receive $200,000 from the foundation, while the Women Employed Institute will get $325,000. Other organizations that will benefit include the Police Foundation, Jazz Institute of Chicago and MDRC.
