Verizon Foundation is planning to invest a total of around $200,000 in New Jersey nonprofits organizations. The nonprofit that will receive the money will use it to support technology-based programs to deal with domestic violence through awareness, prevention and recovery in under-served communities across the state.
The money will also be used to develop programs that use technology to enable agencies to service communities more effectively and provide strategies for enhancing the safety of victims. It will also offer job-related training technology for individuals participating in the programs.
