Former Third Point and Brahman Capital employees have rolled out a new hedge fund, Hedge Fund Net reports. The New York-based hedge fund Bow Street Partners has so far raised $43 million in sales.
The fund was founded by Howard Shainker, who covered investments in the financial services and retail/consumer sectors for Third Point and Akiva Katz, an analyst for Brahman Capital. Blackstone provided $100 million in seed capital to Bow Street.
