BNP Paribas Securities Services has appointed Eric Pouwels as head of client development for the Netherlands, Fundamentals reports. Based in Amsterdam, he will work under Gerald Noltsch, head of Germany for Northern Europe, Central Eastern Europe and Commonwealth of Independent States. The appointment is a part of the bank’s strategy to expand its base in the Benelux region. Prior to joining BNP, Pouwels served at Northern Trust as director of strategic development for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
