The WK Kellogg Foundation has granted $7.7 million in grants to local education-related programs, Battle Creek Enquirer reports. The Kalamazoo Community Foundation received $6 million from Kellogg.
The foundation also provided $1.1 million to the Calhoun Intermediate SchoolDistrict (ISD) and $600,000 to Kellogg Community College. The grants to Kalamazoo and to the ISD are for literacy programs.
