Purdue University’s endowment fund has increased its hedge fund allocation, CNBC reports. The endowment is approaching its 25% investment policy target in hedge funds, as compared to the 15% it achieved in 2010.
The endowment received a 14% return in 2010. The endowment portfolio will comprise of 2% public real estate investment trusts and 5% private real estate investments.
