China Opens First Precious Metal Bourse

China has established its first precious metal exchange in the central Hunan province.

China has established its first precious metal exchange in the central Hunan province, China Daily reports. The Hunan South Rare and Precious Metal Exchange had total investments of $40.2 million.

The bourse will be able to offer spot trading, late trading and long-term trading of non-ferrous metals, rare materials and precious metal products or raw materials, adds Mineweb. Its first four products to be listed are silver, bismuth, indium and tellurium.
