VTB Extends $2B Ukraine loan

The Ukrainian government has extended a $2 billion loan by six months from VTB Group.

The Ukrainian government has extended a $2 billion loan by six months from VTB Group, Reuters reports. The Eastern European country initially secured the six-month credit facility in June 2010. The country has another loan extension option available. Ukraine, which is paying 6.7% in interest on the debt, extended the loan for a further six months last December, adds Gulf News.
