The Industrial Energy Consumers of America has asked the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission to abandon a proposed rule that would limit the number of investors that can view swap prices, reports Bloomberg.

The Industrial Energy Consumers of America has asked the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission to abandon a proposed rule that would limit the number of investors that can view swap prices, and opt for a more open system to enhance transparency. Members of IECA include swaps end users such as Dow Corning, Eastman Kodak and U.S. Steel.
