Wilmington Friends School has received a $2 million scholarship endowment, Delaware Online reports. The Malone Family Foundation has awarded the fund through its Malone Scholars Program.
The Malone Foundation selects a small number of secondary schools across the country each year for the scholarships based on academic and staff caliber, programs for gifted students and strong enrichment coursework. The scholarships are awarded to students in grades 7-12.
