Chile will offer a credit facility worth $400 million to the farmers of the nation, Bloomberg reports. The loan will be provided with favorable interest rates to help agricultural exporters cope with the Latin American nation’s currency performance.

The loan will be offered through state-owned Banco del Estado de Chile to help replace used equipment and expand cattle purchases and planting. The credit facility will have repayment grace periods and amortization coinciding with harvest cycles.
