Bursa Malaysia is seeking to roll out a sustainability index in 2012, Bernama reports. The Malaysian exchange’s new offering will further promote the sustainability agenda for corporate Malaysia. The index will have all the companies that meet the screening criteria, which will comprise environment, social and corporate governance. The bourse is presently working on the details of the index and is likely to announce it later this year.
