Croatia To Get €350M EBRD Loan

Croatia will receive a €350 million loan this year from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Croatia will receive a €350 million loan this year from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Bloomberg reports. The proceeds from the new credit facility will be used for financing energy, railways and water projects.

The country is also in the final stages of discussions with the European Union to join the federation by next year. The Croatian government has offered incentives to increase foreign direct investment in the country, which dropped by 30% in first nine months last year.
