Steve McGuinness, co-COO and global distribution head of Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM), will resign from his position next month, Investment News reports. McGuinness is co-COO with Eric Lane, who will assume the responsibilities of McGuinness.As part of his duties, McGuinness is responsible for facilitating communication among the firm’s regional-distribution leaders. Currently, he reports to co-heads of Goldman Sachs’ investment management division, Edward Forst and Tim O’Neill.
