ISDA Outlines Views On SEFs

The International Swaps and Derivatives Association has outlined its views of the swap execution facilities and their role in the over-the-counter derivatives markets.

The International Swaps and Derivatives Association has outlined its views of the swap execution facilities and their role in the over-the-counter derivatives markets. In a paper released Tuesday, ISDA stated, among other things, that SEFs need to offer derivatives users “broad choice in trade executions at very low costs,” and that it was essential that individual SEFS “are not discriminated against by central clearing organizations in terms of access and pricing.”
