FRM Capital Advisors (FCA) is planning to seed three to four hedge funds this year, Reuters reports. One of the funds that it seeds may be in Asia, said FRM’s COO, Patric Gentile-Williams. The London-based firm is seeking to seed managers moving out of proprietary trading desks. The hedge fund seeder invests about $50 million in one fund and has around $300 million across six hedge funds globally.
