St Joe Company’s board has appointed Bruce Berkowitz, head of Fairholme Funds, as its Chairman, Reuters reports. The U.S. real estate developer has also named Fairholme president, Charles Fernandez, as St Joe’s vice chairman. The Florida-based firm has also appointed Carnival’s COO, Howard Frank and former Florida Governor, Charles Crist to its board. St Joe is seeking a new CEO and has named former Chairman, Hugh Durden, as its acting CEO.
