Eurex will launch equity options on individual stocks with weekly expiration dates, Mondovisione reports. The international derivatives exchange will roll out the Eurex Weekly Equity Options on January 24, 2011.
The service will be listed as separate contracts and will initially comprise derivatives based on shares of Daimler, Deutsche Bank, Deutsche Telekom and Nokia. The exchange will offer Weekly Equity Options for the first, second, fourth and fifth Friday of the month.
