Earlier this summer, I claimed on these pages that I was taking a week-long vacation. But I didn’t. The truth is that I was so inundated with other work that I had to shut every non-essential piece of my life down to get my work done. And that means that I haven’t had a real vacation since... 2012 sometime. That changes now. As I write these words, I’m literally staring out windows at a sun rising up over an ocean. Wife and kids are asleep. Sigh. See you in a week.
