Vale
Vale is a Rio de Janeiro-based metals and mining company with operations in 27 countries. Since its establishment in 1942, it has produced more than 5 billion metric tons of iron ore and become the world’s largest producer of iron ore and pellets. Vale also mines nonferrous metals, including manganese, copper, bauxite, potash and aluminum. Its logistics business operates ports, container terminals, skips and 10,000 kilometers of railways.
