Starting February 1, hedge fund managers with at least 15 clients, $30 million in assets and investment lockups of less than two years will be required to register with the Securities and Exchange Commission. One third of the institutional investors who responded to our latest InvestorForum survey say registration will reduce the likelihood of hedge fund fraud, and almost three quarters say it will have no effect on performance.*
