Dear reader -

Welcome to dailyii.com. Or, should I say welcome back. While the name is new, the look is new, and we may delve into one or two directions which, hopefully, will seem pleasantly foreign to you, rest assured, you know us.

Chances are decent you came to the site looking for InstitutionalInvestor.com, the online portal of the venerable financial news house of the same name. If that is indeed the case, please don’t adjust your screen or double check your spelling. Four I’s, two O’s, several N’s and a litany of T’s. You had it right the first time.

Still, doesn’t exactly roll of the tongue, that url, does it? For this good reason, amongst several others, we’ve decided to make life a little easier on you. Say hello to dailyii.com. Same cast, same compelling, market defining content, same editorial chops, same pedigree. We’ve simply polished it up a bit and made the site more “sticky”.

Before you ask or snicker, by “sticky” we just mean we want you to stay on the site for a bit, do a little poking around, get lost in the market commentary, insider analysis, industry gossip, wine and car reviews, and our ever-expanding coverage of what’s hot in today’s market - hedge funds and Asia, often mutually exclusive but less and less so.

By way of celebration, on Thursday, April 20th, we will ring the bell on the American Stock Exchange to usher in a new trading day and, more importantly to us, the launch of our site. It will obviously be an exciting moment for us - not to mention a photo op to feed the PR machine. On that day, I will say the same words I am writing now: Welcome to DailyII. On second thought, welcome back.

Yours,

Rob Veksler
