AdvisorShares Trust has filed paperwork to develop an actively managed ETF, Index Universe reports. The Accuvest Global Opportunities ETF will be launched in partnership with California-based Accuvest Global Advisors. The fund will utilize a proprietary global country rotation strategy. AdvisorShares is the advisor to the new fund, while Accuvest is its subadvisor. The ETF will comprise a broadly diversified portfolio of country and regional ETFs, designed not only to mitigate single-stock risk, but also to tap into long-term returns linked to country-specific effects.
