Healthy Are Those Hedgers

Hedge funds may be viewed as the riskiest investments, but the health insurance industry sees their employees as safe bets, so some of the highest-paid individuals pay the lowest premiums. “The theory is that the hedge fund community is younger and more health conscious,” says David Parker, president of employee benefits at SKCG Group, a White Plains, New York, insurance broker.
