Pacific Investment Management Co. (PIMCO), has appointed Ignacio Sosa as executive vice president (VP) and emerging markets (EM) product manager. He has been posted at the company’s Newport Beach headquarters. The company managed assets worth $1342.5 billion as of June 30, 2011.
Sosa will be working under Wendy Cupps, managing director and head of the product management (Mgmt) group and David Fisher, executive vice president and head of global and emerging markets product management. Prior to this job, he served at Voras Capital Management as managing director and portfolio manager.
