Sanlam U.K. has hired Johan van der Merwe as chairman, Financial Times reports. Previously, Merwe served at South African firm Sanlam Investment Management in 2002 as CEO.
He started his career with Deloitte & Touche. He has also worked at Gencor’s corporate finance division and Investec Asset Management.
