PIMCO has named Eric Frerer as executive vice president and account manager for institutional clients, Financial Standard reports. He will help service an expected increase in superannuation clients turning to fixed interest for reliable returns. Based in Sydney, he will work with head of PIMCO Australia John Wilson, account manager Ben Kelly and consultant relations manager Matthew McLenaghan. Previously, Frerer has served at JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank and Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
