RBC Raises $1.75B In Debt Issue

Royal Bank of Canada has raised $1.75 billion in a two-part sale of notes.

Royal Bank of Canada has raised $1.75 billion in a two-part sale of notes, Reuters reports. BNP Paribas, JP Morgan and RBC were the joint bookrunning managers for the deal. The $900 million notes sold in the first tranche are scheduled to mature on April 17, 2014. The $850 million notes sold in the second tranche carry a coupon rate of 2.875% and due to mature on April 19, 2016.
