SunTrust Banks has appointed Jerome Lienhard as president and CEO of SunTrust Mortgage. He will be responsible for SunTrust’s mortgage production, servicing, operations, secondary marketing and technology areas. Most recently, Lienhard was executive vice president of strategic finance and administration. In his new role, he will report to CT Hill, consumer banking executive of SunTrust Banks. Lienhard is replacing Sterling Edmunds, who will now become executive vice president, national sales and production manager of the firm.
