Credit Suisse Unit Appoints New Chief

Clariden Leu, an independently-managed private bank owned by Credit Suisse, has appointed Olivier Jaquet as CEO.

Clariden Leu, an independently-managed private bank owned by Credit Suisse, has appointed Olivier Jaquet as CEO, The Wall Street Journal reports. In her new role, she will replace Hans Nuetzi, who is stepping down with immediate effect.

Nuetzi, who has led the private bank since November 2007, will continue as senior advisor to the board of Zurich-based Clariden Leu’s board. Prior to this, Jaquet served as CEO of Credit Suisse’s trust unit. Click here for the story from The Wall Street Journal.
