The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) has won International Securities Exchange’s (ISE) patent infringement suit, Finextra reports. An Illinois court ruled that CBOE did not infringe a patent held by ISE.
The court said that CBOE’s proprietary Hybrid and CBOEdirect systems do not infringe ISE’s patent. As part of the ruling, ISE’s patent infringement case against CBOE has ended.
