RBC Capital Markets’ U.S. fixed-income sales head, Chuck Powis has quit from his current role in the firm, Bloomberg reports. The investment banking arm of Royal Bank of Canada has not made any decisions on his replacement.

In his absence, product sales managers will work under New York-based global co-head of currencies and fixed income, Jonathan Hunter. Powis, who was named head of institutional sales for U.S. financial products, fixed income and currencies in 2007, was previously head of U.S. structured credit and rates.
