ETF Securities has launched a new Asian gold exchange-traded fund (ETF), Advisor One reports. The ETFS Physical Asian Gold Shares has been listed on the NYSE and is backed by London Bullion Market Association gold bars. The gold will be vaulted in Singapore by JPMorgan Chase. The fund is the first precious metals exchange-traded product (ETP) to be rolled out in Asia.
