Nordea Bank has raised $2.75 billion in a sale of senior unsecured notes in three parts in the144a private placement market.

Nordea Bank has raised $2.75 billion in a sale of senior unsecured notes in three parts in the144a private placement market, Reuters reports. The Stockholm-based bank appointed Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citi, Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan as the joint bookrunning managers for the deal. The $1 billion notes sold in the first tranche are due to mature on Jan. 14, 2014. The $750 million notes sold in the second tranche carry a coupon rate of 2.125% and are due to mature on Jan. 14, 2014. The $1 billion notes sold in the third tranche carry a coupon rate of 4.875% and are due to mature on Jan. 14, 2021.
