Schottenfeld Starts Futures Platform

Hedge fund firm, Schottenfeld Group, launches Koyote Capital trading platform.

Hedge fund firm, Schottenfeld Group, has launched a trading platform, The Wall Street Journal reports. Koyote Capital will help the firm boost its presence in futures trading and is a new platform for Chicago Board Options Exchange trading.

Some of the Schottenfeld traders have started trading under the Koyote name. The hedge fund firm used to employ Zvi Goffer, David Plate and Gautham Shankar, who were charged with securities fraud and conspiracy to commit securities fraud in the Galleon Group insider-trading case.
