Peter Kiernan III would never have chosen to become the head of the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation -- at least not under the circumstances that put him there.
In March 2006, Kiernan, a senior adviser at New Yorkbased hedge fund Cyrus Capital Partners, got a call from his close friend Dana Reeve, wife of the late Christopher.
