Connecticut Pension’s Zero Allocation

Connecticut has exactly zero percent of its assets allocated to hedge funds anywhere.

Connecticut has an official nickname (the Constitution State) and a better-known unofficial one (the Nutmeg State), but it could probably start calling itself the Land of Hedge Funds.

The state is home to some 300 hedge funds, including giants SAC Capital Advisors and Tudor Investment Corp.
