Déjà vu for Loeb and Biggs

Fund launched by “Hot Pockets” founders gets steamy, while Loeb has another stellar year.

One year ago »» Falcon Investment Management, the hedge fund arm of the Merage family office, the founders of Chef America and inventors of Hot Pockets (the microwavable “hot meal in a pocket”), launched a long/short equity fund in January 2010. At the time, the Falcon Consumer Fund ran $119 million of the Merage’s wealth, and the firm decided to open up to outside investors for the first time.
