Ackman’s Pershing Square Up by Double Digits in 2014

The activist investor has gained more in the first two months than he did all of last year.

William Ackman’s Pershing Square Capital Management is off to a fast start this year.

The New York–based activist hedge fund is up about 12 percent through the first two months of 2014. This is already better than it fared last year, when it rose by a little less than 10 percent in what was a strong year for activist-oriented managers.
